FranWhack is a service of
FranchiseRemedies.com that is
designed for people who don’t wish to spend $ 5,000 for legal and deal due
diligence when considering an investment in a franchised business.
FranWhack is a negative
investment recommendation service. We will tell you that in our opinion, we
would not recommend that anyone invest in a franchise offered by the particular
company you are considering because we believe the risk is unacceptable.
We do not give favorable
recommendations on FranWhack. For a complete due diligence appraisal of any
proposed franchise investment that is intended to identify and evaluate specific
risks, you would have to retain the due diligence services made available on
www.FranchiseRemedies.com.
FranWhack only gives negative opinions about it if we feel that the risk is
unacceptable as offered. FranWhack does not provide reasons or the analysis for
any negative recommendation it provides.
If we have had negative
experiences regarding a particular franchisor; or if we have done a due
diligence project on that franchisor and have recommended against the
investment; or if we take a quick look at it and spot what we consider to be
critical negative issues with the franchise being offered, we will provide a
simple negative investment recommendation. It will then be up to you to make
your own investment decision. This is not intended to be a substitute for the
advice of your local lawyer and financial analyst regarding buying any
franchise. You still need that, no matter what else you may do to investigate
the wisdom of any particular business investment.
The fee for a FranWhack
response to any single franchise investment inquiry is $ 1,000. This is payable
in advance. In addition to the fee, you will be required to sign the FranWhack
sales agreement that disclaims and releases us from any claim of liability based
upon any decision you may make to invest in any franchise. Since FranWhack does
not give positive investment recommendations, but only warns against what we
believe are bad ones, your decision to invest cannot possibly be based on what
you are told by FranWhack. If we inform you that we do not have significant
negative information about the franchise you are considering, that is not a
recommendation that you make the investment, because we will not have done a
complete investment analysis to enable us to make a positive recommendation.
